Collaborations

Akila recently held a school-enterprise cooperation meeting with Republic Polytechnic (RP) and the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) to foster collaboration and create greater opportunities between Akila, SIT, and RP. The discussions revolved around establishing internship programs and identifying potential areas for fruitful cooperation and Akila’s future development in Singapore.

Republic Polytechnic (RP) is the first Singapore educational institution to leverage the problem-based learning approach for all its full diploma programs such as engineering, applied science, technology, etc.

The Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) is Singapore’s first University of Applied Learning and the third largest university by intake in Singapore, with a mission to maximize the potential of our learners and to innovate with industry, through an integrated applied learning and research approach, to contribute to the economy and society.

The partnership with Akila will provide schools with initiatives ranging from executive-level sponsorship and campus speaking opportunities, to subject-matter access to AI, data, and energy management, also with a commitment to provide global career opportunities to recent college graduates who are preparing for careers in green technology.

At Aden, we believe that the academia-industry partnership is part of our asset which can strengthen our skills and access to a more active and positive footprint in the wider innovation community.
