Aden Group’s digital platform Akila has its global base in Singapore, where we have established a full business & sales network, reinforced by strategic partnerships with financial & tech groups. Akila’s ASEAN data has been deployed across borders in Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam and Indonesia, allowing clients fast, secure and reliable access to the platform in full compliance with data protection policies in countries of deployment.

Supporting private sector modernization & net-zero in +80 cities

Aden has built a nationwide network in China, with nine dedicated regional headquarters to better connect with domestic and MNC clients at their China properties. In China, Aden Group has combined sector expertise in industry (its largest client base), healthcare and education to fund and operate large-scale renewable energy projects, digitalized asset management, and portfolio-wide decarbonization partnerships.

Leading +1 billion USD investment in smart and sustainable industry

In 2023, NXpark by Aden led over 1B investment in development of smart and sustainable industrial real estate, and developed over 1M square meters of industrial property which it owns and operates, working with Akila and Aden Energies to build a certifiably net-zero factory in Xi’an, use +50% recycled steel in its design, and achieve a range of environmental certifications including LEED, HQE and more.

Nationwide coverage in the country of our founding

In 1997, in Ho Chi Minh City, Aden took on its first project. Since then, Aden Vietnam has grown to 200 clients and 3,100 employees serving major MNCs from East Asian and Western countries, as well as a growing domestic client base. With offices in Hanoi, HCMC and Da Nang, Aden Vietnam is the country’s top IFM provider, serving industrial parks, property management and international schools, with strong growth in technical services and critical asset management.

Hanoi – one of Akila’s largest R&D and BIM technology hubs

Akila has established a dedicated R&D center in the capital, focused on leveraging building engineering software (BIM) for digitalization of the built environment and climate risk management. With 30 members of the Akila Engineering team based here, the Hanoi R&D base is a center of our Group’s work to digitalize the full building lifecycle starting from the very first stages of design, through one of the most carbon-intensive – construction.

Jakarta HQ and projects at +30 remote industrial & mining projects

Aden Indonesia is celebrating its 10th year as a dedicated division serving ASEAN’s largest economy. With a national HQ in Jakarta, Aden Indonesia employs 1,100 full time staff, with project sites in four of Indonesia’s five main islands, as well as full-scope camp design, energy and facility management projects at remote industrial and mining camps.

Indonesia’s minerals boom is an opportunity to pilot a new course of sustainable development. We are committed to leading this charge, and creating a digitalized offer based on asset efficiency, smart engineering and operation, robust policies for community investment and digital infrastructure that enables even the most remote locations to systemically track and report ESG data.

A network of dedicated Japan desks optimizing client overseas portfolios

Aden has a long history of partnership and support for Japanese clients at their overseas facilities. Today, Aden is working with over 100 Japanese clients at +150 of sites across Vietnam, greater Southeast Asia and China. Serving a client base which includes Denso, Unicharm and more, Aden Group has built a network of dedicated Japan desks across Asia which offer customized service for Japanese business needs and requirements.

A base in Tokyo supporting national ESG initiatives

Japan is a leader in the field of ESG with an ambitious agenda for net-zero and mandatory corporate reporting in line with the TCFD framework. Aden Group, through Akila, is supporting these measures, founding an Akila Japan office, and building a series of partnerships to distribute Akila ESG software in the Japan domestic market. Among our strategic partnerships is Index Facilities, a division of Index Group.

From our very beginnings, Aden has provided a bridge between Europe and the APAC market. Aden’s strategic partners include European pioneers of digital twin (Dassault Systèmes), clean energy technologies (Eren Industries), and a range of other smart-tech collaborations. Today, we optimize assets and energy for hundreds of top European companies in industry & manufacturing, retail, commerce and education, while also benefitting from strong partnerships and exchanges with some of the EU’s top educational and research institutes.

Partnering in support of EU decarbonization initiatives

Organizations operating in the EU, no matter their origin, will need to meet the new and rigorous standards of the ESRS (European Sustainability Reporting Standards). Buildings represent a disproportionate share of the framework’s environmental focus. To enable European business to meet these reporting and decarbonization requirements, Akila has opened a Europe division operating in Paris, Brussels and Barcelona, with ongoing work in Europe and the wider MENA region. Akila is now expanding its footprint and partner ecosystem in the EU to enable all clients to meet their reporting requirements on an accelerated schedule.

Supporting digitalized management of the EU’s Diplomatic Compound in Somalia

Since 2014, Aden Group, through its dedicated venture for remote and challenging locations, has managed the full operations, service and maintenance of the EU’s diplomatic compound in Mogadishu, Somalia. Requiring a high-level of security and of comfort suitable for +50 operational and diplomatic staff, as well as visiting delegations, Aden Group is now digitalizing and optimizing the compound to achieve a greater degree of asset efficiency and sustainability.

Facilitating sustainable, digital mining and industrial infrastructure

In West Africa, Aden Group supports the mining and industrial camp operations of several major groups. We have built an extensive supply chain and operational network ensuring efficiency and quality of life for on-site staff. At the same time, Aden Group and Akila are pursuing development of renewable energy and digitalization for these sectors and regions, so that even remote camps and local governments are empowered to collect ESG data and meet reporting requirements at the highest international standards.

Setting a faster path to net-zero compliance in cities, states and provinces.

City and state governments are adopting net-zero targets at record speed, with unprecedented granularity in their targets. New York’s LL97 initiative begins impacting property owners in 2024. Similar initiatives will follow from Canada to Mexico. Akila’s North American division is working with building and portfolio owners to link systems and create the progress reporting, dashboarding and transparency they need to move to net-zero at speed.
